Psychological influencing and protection against influences

Psychological influencing happens everywhere in life. Influencing can take place either unconsciously or consciously and target changing people's thoughts, behaviour and attitudes or, at worst, exploiting people for their own benefit. 

Organisations should identify and respond to influencing efforts that may create insider risks in their personnel and thus endanger the organisation – for example, its information, products, operations or personnel. 

In addition, by learning different influencing techniques that are used to guide people's behaviour and decision-making, it is possible to enhance one's own actions and thus also improve the efficiency of the organization. 

This training provides in-depth knowledge of psychological influencing, concrete influencing techniques to enhance one's own actions and ways to protect oneself from psychological influencing. The training is based on scientifically researched knowledge and methods as well as the instructors' long practical experience. The training is led by experienced specialists. 

Course objective 

The aim of the course is to increase the understanding of the members of the organisation on how people can be psychologically affected if a person inside or outside the organisation would like to receive confidential information or a person to act in a way that harms the organisation or work task. The aim of the course is to learn to identify oneself as a potential target of influencing and to identify ways to protect oneself from influence. 

Who is the training suitable for: The training is aimed at everyone who wants to better understand psychological influencing, learn how to protect themselves from it and use influencing as a tool to enhance their own actions.  

Trainer 

The main trainer is a long-term psychologist (PsM), a forensic psychologist who has years of practical and theoretical understanding of psychological influence on people and the risks associated with it both at the organizational and individual level 

Content and duration 

The applied part of the content of the training is adapted to the customer's situation and target group. 

The training can be implemented as shorter online training parts or as more comprehensive attendance training lasting approximately 1-2 days. The online trainings are approximately 3-6 2-hour training packages. 

The course can also be combined with the following training modules (interaction as a tool and challenging interaction situations, interview training).
